The One to Watch

Entered in Entertainment, Humor

Objective

Max is the one to follow for The One To Watch. It’s the entry point for our audience to learn about what’s new on the service, discover content from our wide-ranging library, keep up with their favorite shows, and get behind-the-scenes moments from notable talent. You can find something for every you with each refresh of the feed. With over 2000 movies and 1300 shows totaling over 35,000 hours, it can be daunting for an audience to choose what to watch, but it also takes an incredible team to sift through all of that content in order to develop strategic planning and decision-making for what audiences will see when they open their phones to help them decide what they’re going to put on that night.

We’re confident in our content’s ability to spark conversations, captivate attention, and speak to the different sides of who we all are. We have everything our audience could want in a streaming platform in almost every genre. We wanted to deliver content that celebrates our programming with existing fans and helps new users understand what they’ve been missing.

Strategy

We were strategic across social media when connecting the dots between our programming and the Max brand: That show you like? It’s on Max. That meme you can’t stop laughing at? It’s from a movie on Max, too.

We accept and celebrate all kinds. We believe a tasteful dose of emojis sometimes says more than words ever could. We are here to engage, recommend, discuss, and suggest. But we won't just give viewers something new and leave them alone. We’ll make sure they are seen, understood, and, most importantly, catered to. That’s just what you do when you care.

Results

Throughout 2024, there’s been a +48% follower growth of 2.57M people, 9.47B impressions, and 91M engagements. Trending TikTok sounds from Euphoria, House of the Dragon, and The Last of Us have sparked memes that have lasted to this day and emerged across multiple platforms. Audiences have discovered their new favorite watch from A24 or shared how they’ve watched Dune Part One + Part Two for the 10th time that week. Max is a place not only where you can put on your favorite things, but can find so many people who love that thing, too.
