Spirit of Womanhood by Larry W. Griffis Jr. is a 14.5 foot bronze sculpture on an engraved black marble base. The inscription on front of base reads: "Gift of James G. Forsyth, 1962, Spirit of Womanhood by Griffis."

The sculpture is dedicated to Marian de Forest, founder of Zonta International.
