Tick had a simple idea: bring group of acclaimed musicians to Buffalo to create
a high-caliber recital series. The series would be totally funded by its membership
base. Virtually all of the subscription price goes to pay the artists' fees. Tickets
are not available to individual concerts. Each membership provides the holder
with a card that is used for admission to each concert. Memberships may be shared. At
its inception, the series was planned for Kleinhans Music Hall, but production
expenses there prohibited its completion. Holy Trinity Church has a long history
of presenting high-level concerts to the community, and with seating for only
575 people, was deemed the perfectly-sized venue to house the series. The church
has made its wonderful performance space available without adding to the cost
of the series for subscribers. Holy Trinity Church has ample off-street parking
and provides security services for the peace of mind of attendees. 2007-2008
