Ballet Artists is dedicated to enriching the region's cultural environment by
building appreciation and support for the art of ballet. We are committed to preserving
the artistry, technique and traditions of ballet through high quality performance
and superior instruction. In
September of 1994 Sergio and Heidi opened the Neglia Conservatory of Ballet to
introduce Western New York dance students to a new level of classical training.
Sergio Neglia remembers the passion his parents carried in their bodies when they
danced, and this is something he wants to pass down to his students. The Conservatory
has been very successful at identifying and developing young ballet talent throughout
the region. In
1999 the couple established a performing company called Neglia Ballet Artists.
This dynamic performing ensemble is in its sixth year of mounting critically acclaimed
danced productions using a core group of dancers, professional guest artists,
and advanced students from the Conservatory. 2006-2007
