The Mansion on Delaware Avenue is a joyous renovation of architect George Allison's
American Gothic Second Empire structure. Originally, Charles F. Sternberg commissioned
The Mansion as a private residence in 1869 at an estimated cost of $200,000. Called
"The House of Light", The Mansion has over 175 windows, 14 of which are large
bay windows. Architectural Digest and The Travel Channel have featured this unique
property. |
