Lancaster Opera House

The Lancaster Opera House is a restored, turn-of-the-century theater, occupying the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Lancaster Town Hall. The Opera House maintains a year round schedule of performances, including musicals, theatre, ethnic programs, dance, classical and traditional music and Jazz.

Arsenic & Old Lace
September 14 - October 7, 2007
Martha and Abby Brewster’s famous elderberry wine recipe includes a teaspoon of arsenic. Yes, these two sweet old ladies have developed a very bad habit of murdering lonely old men and burying them in their cellar — and that’s only the tip of this twisted family’s iceberg. Poisoning, prison breaks and the Panama Canal all come together in this comedy classic.


Guys and Dolls

Christmasville

Lancaster, New York is the ultimate destination to experience the magic of Christmas; as the village turns into a Victorian winter wonderland of decorations, lights, special events featuring original vintage and new animated window displays.
