Kyle MacLachlan's Social Media Presence

Objective

At the start of 2024, Full Picture Productions wanted to engage with Kyle MacLachlan's social media followers in a new and innovative way to widely demonstrate his humor and creativity. As many recognize Kyle as Special Agent Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks) or even Orson Hodge (Desperate Housewives), Full Picture knew him as a playful creator with a uniquely dedicated fanbase. Thus began Kyle's new rise to social media fame amongst Gen Z and Millenials who coined him "Baby Girl," "Brat," and "The best person on TikTok." 

Strategy

At the beginning of 2024, Kyle launched his True Crime Podcast Varnamtown. In an effort to drive listener engagement, Full Picture Productions created innovative social content across Kyle's Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok accounts. Due to the massive success of this content, the team continued to grow Kyle's social channels immensely while promoting his projects, accolades, and branding opportunities. Some of these include: Fallout, Inside Out 2, Overcompensating, Pursued by Bear, GQ Germany Man of the Year, Spotify's end-of-year playlist, and more. 

 

Results

By focusing on both current trends and popular songs, as well as niche social media moments, the Full Picture Productions team brought Kyle into cultural conversations and gained him over 120k followers and 13M views across channels in less than one month. 

In addition to his rise of likes and followers, Kyle has connected with a number of new social media friends - all who have brought him deeper into the cultural zeitgeist - Charli XCX, Lorde, Rachel Sennott, Chappell Roan, Benny Drama, and Bowen Yang, to name a few

The popularity in Kyle’s posts led to massive media attention on Variety, GQ, Daily Mail, US Weekly, Today Show, Them, and more.
