Kenan Center
_______________________________________________________________________

Situated on 25 beautiful acres in Lockport, New York in Niagara County, the historic Kenan Center is only a short drive from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester and southern Ontario. Named for its benefactor, William Rand Kenan, Jr., the Kenan Center serves as a regional community center providing visitors and the community with arts, education and recreation programs.

Facilities include a sports arena, a converted carriage house theater and community gathering room, an education building, outdoor recreational fields, a playground and the Kenan House, an 1800's Victorian mansion featuring a year-round art gallery and formal gardens.

Programs include community education classes, a preschool and extensive recreation offerings. Adult theater productions, along with the Family Performance Series, are presented in the intimate Taylor Theater.

The Kenan Arena houses numerous special events, such as 100 American Craftsmen, throughout the year.
