| As
one of seven libraries in the US, this Buffalo museum;a National Historic site;
is part of the world's largest privately-held collection of rare and valuable
manuscripts. Located close to Kleinhans Music Hall, the building underwent a massive
restoration in the early 1990s and saw its first exhibit in 1996. The museum houses
gems such as an original U.S. Bill of Rights draft, a description by Einstein
of his Theory of Relativity and a Thanksgiving Proclamation signed by George Washington.
General
admission: Admission to the museum is free, although donations
