Aliah Davis-McHenry is an award-winning, results-driven strategic communications leader who transforms brands and has a proven track record in purpose-driven marketing, brand management, and digital innovation. With over 15 years of experience in marketing, Aliah thrives on elevating brands and inspiring change. In her current role as Global Head (Vice President) of Corporate Marketing at Novartis, Aliah leads the efforts to advance and elevate the company’s brand by setting the strategy and vision for corporate marketing campaigns, corporate events/experiences, partnerships, sponsorships, and creative content including digital, paid social, and video production. Prior to Novartis, Aliah held leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline leading consumer engagement for their consumer healthcare brands and at Bristol Myers Squibb leading global corporate marketing and creative. Her deep expertise in market analysis and stakeholder insights has consistently driven growth and innovation. Aliah is also dedicated to advancing diversity, belonging, and inclusion, having actively contributed to enhancing diversity goals and hiring practices in her roles. In addition to her corporate achievements, Aliah is an accomplished entrepreneur, having founded and led her own marketing consultancy and PR agency. Her impressive career includes being named a Changemaker at The White House’s State of the Women Summit. She has been featured/appeared in Essence, O, Working Mother, CNN and Good Morning America, and has earned accolades as one of 2023 PR Daily’s Top Women in Marketing, and a 2024 Provoke Media ‘Rising Star’. In addition to these accomplishments, she has spoken at SXSW, Social Media Week, and other esteemed events. Aliah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and African and African-American Studies from Rutgers University-Newark. She holds various certifications in DEI, Management, Marketing, and AI Strategy.
