His journalism has been published in GQ South Africa. Shefik has appeared as a background actor in numerous television and film productions for Warner Bros. Pictures, HBO, Max, Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, MTV, Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, FX, and Disney Theatrical Productions, along with widely viewed music videos for Roc Nation Records, and other record companies. Shefik is also the Executive Producer and Host of the nationally syndicated, terrestrial radio show "Shefik presents Invocation" (https://invocation.co), as well as the internationally syndicated video show of the same name. The radio show currently has a total of over 1 million dedicated listeners per month, and the combined multimedia platform has won over 40 industry awards. Additionally, Shefik is Producer and Host of the series "In Our Time with Sir Shefik", produced in association with Harlem Film House.
