under development are plans to build a Tydolgas filling station based on Frank
Lloyd Wright's preliminary plans. Wright never completed final plans for the structure. The
station will focus on the educational design concepts and will not be an actual
working facility. The
1927 design includes period innovations like a second floor waiting room, a ladies'
room, and gas hoses which hang from a cantilevered roof. Besides
with the filling station, a Wright designed greasing station will also be built. |
