Dun
Building _______________________________________________________________________
110 Pearl Street, Buffalo, New York Architect:
E.B. Green & William Wicks Built: 1894-1895
Buffalo's first highrise was named for the R. G. Dun Company, which later became
Dun and Bradstreet. At 10 stories, it is a fine local example of 1890's Beaux-Arts
and Renaissance Styling. It stands on the site of Buffalo's first school which
was detroyed in 1813 at the burning of the village by the British.
