A beautiful Medina Sandstone Romanesque church decorated in the baroque style. It houses one of only 4 reproductions in the United States of RaphaelÕs ÒThe Dispute over the Blessed SacramentÓ.

It is the mother church of the Franciscan Friars Conventual who began here in the late 1800s and the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph. It operates the longest running radio program in the U.S., the Father Justin Rosary Hour, begun in 1931.

Under Fr. Justin, St. Joseph Hospital opened in Cheektowaga, Hilbert College in Hamburg and St. Francis High School in Athol Springs, all of which continue to operate today.
