| The
Benjamin and Dr. Edgar R. Codeld Judaic Museum houses over 1,000 Judaic artifacts
dating back to the 10th century. These include rare ceremonial garb, medallions,
textiles, folk art and books donated by members of the congregation and friends.
The exhibits are rotated, providing viewing according to the holidays. Of
special interest are paintings by well-known artists Marc Chagall, Ben Shahn and
Ludwig Wolpert. There are also Holocaust remembrances, and a permanent exhibition
called American Jews: A Saga of Three Centuries. General
admission: Admission is free and everyone is welcome. |
