| The
Carnegie Art Center is a regional, multi-arts center located in southern Niagara
County. It's programs are presented in an historic 1903 Carnegie Library building
which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A
visual and performing arts center, the Carnegie presents a diversity of program
activities including exhibitions in the visual and digital arts as well as classes
for children and adults through a multi-disciplinary community art education curriculum.
Class offerings include workshops and classes in the visual, digital/media, language
and dance arts. The
Carnegie is the only art center in southern Niagara County and serves as a hub
of cultural activities for the immediate surrounding communities of the Tonawandas
as well as for the greater Western New York region. |
